Fans and pundits here in Great Britain are not sure quite what to expect from the Olympic team. Stuart Pearce has selected a squad with plenty of Premier League experience, but barring the upcoming friendlies, this set of players have never played together as a team. They will undoubtedly lack the cohesion of Spain whose nucleus won the 2011 European under-21 Championships, but a place in the last four is a realistic target for the hosts.
